    Latest Vlog Post

Latest Vlog Post – well the second one really as I have only done 1 before! Hope that you will enjoy it. I have been trying to find some new ways of making some extra money and my research is going to take a little while longer but I will get this out to you as soon as I am able to. So in the meantime I have a question for you. What should I do the next vlog post about? Obviously the main theme of this blog is money, family and the animals so it must be related to one of these things. You can ask me a question…

    Vlog Post

Vlogs – what are Vlogs? So a Vlog is a video blog right? I have never even thought about creating one of these but apparently they are very popular so I thought I would give it a go! Now this has not been without a LOT of issues! Some people have no problem with Vlogs but I, it seems, am not one of them. First of all I needed to choose a topic – well gardening seemed to be a good plan as I have not shared much about that with you. So off I go into the poly tunnel and take a video on my phone. So far so…

Easter Monday – what a strange year so far.

Easter Monday already. How on earth are we already at this time of year? And what a strange year it is! I hope you are all doing well and staying safe. Lockdown is difficult. It is strange. But it is vital so that we can beat this horrible virus together. What are you finding difficult about lockdown? I am struggling with not being able to just pop out and see my family. I am missing work (never thought I would say that!) As a family we are also missing our walks. We love walking and although we can still take the dogs out, and stay socially distanced, we would normally…

    What day is it?

What day is it? I don’t know about you but I am losing all track of time as we are in lockdown. It is a very strange time for many of us at the moment and I guess we are all worried but trying our best to be positive. The better we are at social distancing the better chance we have of getting through this quickly. What is the first thing you are going to do once this situation is over? I am going to visit my mum and the rest of my family. I am missing them so much at the moment but am keeping in touch via phone,…

    Day 1

Day 1 of an unusual week/month/months. Day 1 to stay at home. Today I have woken up in a world that is totally different. Many countries are on lockdown, schools are closed for many and yet in many other respects today is normal. What do I mean? Well the sun still rose, the birds are still singing and yet I have a sense of sadness. The world will recover from this I know but right now I am having trouble seeing past my first cup of coffee. How many of us feel the same I wonder? Do you feel different? Are you working from home? Please drop a comment and…

Spring has Sprung – some happiness to share

Spring has sprung – yes indeed today is the official start of Spring and the weather here is just perfect. I love this season with the blossom and the flowers. It’s also my birthday soon so that’s even more reason to love the season. The last few weeks have indeed been very testing, Coronavirus has swept across the world at a staggering rate. We are isolated from our friends and family. Even though we cannot go and visit people the use of technology is becoming more and more appreciated by many. For that I am sure we are very thankful.  However I do not want to dwell on this aspect…

    Money Saving and making advice

Money! Making money. How do you earn money? For most of us the answer would be by going to work. And that’s great. But do you make enough? The answer is probably either not really or I could do with some more. Can you make money online? This is a question that I know I have been asked several times. The answer to this is yes you can but don’t expect to make thousands as some get rich quick schemes will tell you. If you want to earn money you have to work for it. There are no short cuts. However I have a bit of advice that can help…

    Spring

Spring Spring has sprung! But it still feels like winter. The rain is falling as I type but there is some sunshine around today in between the showers. I have to say this is my favourite season. Not least because my birthday is in Spring. But also I love to see the flowers awakening and poking through the earth and the blossom on the trees. It also means we can get outside more. Something that we, as a family, love to do. Mr Cash Mum has been out taking some photos. One of his hobbies that he has recently revisited. I love the fact that this hobby means that we…
